Operation Weight Loss Week 3

This is week 3 of my weight loss journey and I am proud to report that I am down another 2.3 pounds! This brings my grand total to a little over 10 pounds. I am so excited. I know that I still have a way to go but I am sticking to my plan, eating my Jenny Craig food and exercising consistently. Just so you know, from here on out I am likely to only lose 1 or 2 pounds a week. I have prepared myself for this and am committed to sticking to my plan of healthy eating.

When I talked to my consultant this week we discussed my strategy for eating while I am visiting family over the holidays. I plan on visiting the nearest Jenny Craig for food and carrying my resource books for eating out with me at all times. I know that it is inevitable for me to eat out when catching up with friends in New York and I am prepared.

I have been exercising consistently and meeting my goal of at least an hour a day six days a week. The EA SPORTS Active More Workouts keeps me on my toes and I have been playing squash to prepare for the tournament that all of the Challengers are going to participate in when we get together next month in California. My best rally so far is 87 and I am working on getting to 90 so I have a perfect score. Perhaps next week I will make my goal.

Here is my newest video about my experiences so far.

Great job! Ten pounds is a big deal & a great start. To date, I've lost 3 pounds but I'm not looking back. I intend to keep up the healthy eating, increased water intake & exercise. Thanks for sharing your progress.

You go girl! WOW! 10 lbs. That's fantastic. I love your attitude. So positive and you know that this is going to take time and you are ok with that. I always remind myself that this is a journey and not a destination.

I love sparkpeople. That's what I use to track my food too (although I haven't done it online in a while). And I love that they have an iPhone app so I can track even when I'm away from home.

Can't wait to see your progress in another 3 weeks in CA!
Way to go, Renee! You're doing a fantastic job :) I have a saying kind of like Michele's: It's a marathon, not a sprint! It does take time to lose the weight, but 1-2 pounds a week is safe and healthy. You're more likely to keep it off if you lose it slowly :)

I cannot wait for the squash tournament in CA!! I've been practicing everyday, and my rallies are getting better! Watch out!!

Congratulations girl! You are doing so good! I love your attitude, but I think my favorite part about what you are doing is how you started BEFORE the New Year. Everyone starts on 1/1, but you started when you KNEW it had to be done. You didn't avoid it for a later time. Love that. That is how things get DONE. XXOO

Oh, and love how you are a fellow Mamavation Sista now!!!

so true- everyone always says "after the holidays" but I try not to go crazy. I eat what I want but try not to eat 12 cookies. Maybe I just eat 6.
never looked into Jenny only ever looked into WW...what do you do when you want to go off Jenny? I know with WW you can eat their recipes for life and be just fine. Just curious about Jenny.
