I have great news today! I just returned from my weekly Jenny Craig visit and I am down another 2 pounds! What does that mean? It means that I have officially lost 20 pounds! Whoo Hooo! I am so excited by this news. Next week my big goal is to be in the 170s I am almost there and I know I can do it.

By combining exercise and following the Jenny Craig meal plan I have consistently lost between 1-2 pounds a week. This is a healthy level of weight loss and I plan on maintaining it. I cannot wait until I reach the halfway mark only about 5 more pounds before I meet that goal. I wanted to show you a photo of a meal that I eat because I know folks are probably wondering if I actually eat.

As I've mentioned in the past, I eat more than I ever ate before I was on the road to healthy living. This photo is one of the dinners that I enjoy, teriyaki salmon and I added the brocalli. Generally I will eat a bag of frozen vegetables with my dinner. It fills me up and tastes delicious with a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning. I also mentioned that I don't deny myself, I eat things that I enjoy but just low-calorie versions.

Staying on track with my diet and exercise will help me reach my goals - losing a total of 50 pounds, being fit and fab by my birthday next month and fitting into a pair of pants that I've had for ten years (a size 9 juniors).

What are your goals for your health journey?

This is AWESOME, Renee! I really need to get my butt in gear -- I thought nursing would shed the baby weight for me, but it hasn't. Time to actually work for it, I guess.

Congrats! Congrats! You are a true inspiration to me!!! I love your goals!

My goals are to be at my ideal for me weight for sure by my 30th birthday (October). I also want to be in a single number dress size. I'm thinking all this will translate to a loss of at least 40 pounds!
I would actually eat everything on that plate. YUM!

you always motivate me!!! I've done the biggest loser dvd twice this week...and plan on doing it again when I get home...ate oatmeal, chicken salad and plain yogurt with berries thus far today....sometimes I wish it didn't take so long for the pounds to fall off...but sometimes I feel I'm getting bigger before I get smaller!! LOL

The post is very much impressive to set some few weight loss goals. Weight loss goals are exact purpose of a person to lose weight. By setting weight loss goals, a person has an idea that where he wants to end up, as far as body weight and fitness are concerned.
