 Summer is in full swing here in Georgia. My son has had field day, fun day, award day and of course the last day of school! Our weather is in the 80s and 90s and we wear shorts daily around here! Quite frankly, it is sometimes difficult for me to remember the days of living in New York where school isn’t out until June and summer weather doesn’t hit until the end of June or early July. My son and I are ready for the summer and all of the fun it entails. Our first adventure together? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of the Shadows!

My son is a huge TMNT fan. We saw the first one together and have spent countless hours watching the series together on television. He already has a few t-shirts and toys that are TMNT themed but with the release of the new movie, it is time for him to get fully outfitted and Walmart is the one stop shop for it! Walmart has items in all categories including: grocery, apparel, toys, action figures, bedding, and even a fishing pole!

I took a trip to my local Walmart to see the selection in person. As soon as I walked into the store and visited the produce aisle I saw TMNT themed grapes! 

I’m not sure if they taste any different than regular grapes but I know my son is going to love them AND they were actually less expensive than the non-branded grapes. Next I walked around looking for apparel and saw tee-shirts available in both the adult and and children’s sections of the store, very reasonably priced at $7.50.

I knew I was going to hit the motherlode when I ventured into the toy area and I wasn’t disappointed.

There was a huge sign that indicated I was in TMNT territory. On the sign was a Shazam logo that when scanned in the app takes you on a virtual tour of the tactile truck from the movie, provides recipes and even enables you to shop on Walmart.com for TMNT merchandise! On the display there was no shortage of items to choose from including the tactical truck with Leo and Hero and Villain two packs.

I know my son and I are going to enjoy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of the Shadows and Walmart will provide us with a variety of items to keep the fun going long after the movie is over!
