Summer Activity for kids: Michaels Passport to Imagination

There are so many interesting things to do in the city during the summer with the kids. If you have missed out on camp this year, not to worry, there are other options! One of these options is available at Michaels-- from now until August 1st, Michael’s stores nationwide will be holding Passport to Imagination Classes for children aged 5 and above. These two hour classes are held Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 10am - 12pm. Each class is only $2.00!

Michaels has partnered with seven of North America’s best museums to conduct a museum road trip this summer. Every craft completed is associated with a museum. Each craft is inspired by an exhibit at one of the museums.  This week’s crafts are based on the Pima Air and Space Museum. You can register your child on the Michaels website. The first 50 participants who attend  Passports to Imagination will receive a portfolio to display their work.

Passport to Imagination sounds like a lot of fun and if you don’t have other plans for your child this summer, I say get to crafting!
