Help support families dealing with childhood cancer!

Cancer is devastating no matter what age you are. However there is a special place in my heart for  parents who have a child undergoing treatment for cancer. As a mother it is difficult for me to even fathom such a traumatic event and I have several friends who know this pain first hand. Luckily in the cases I am referring the children are now cancer free and living full healthy lives. These children received top of the line treatment and care from the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center.

Today and tomorrow, WSB radio 95.5 FM and AM 750 is holding a Care-A-Thon. Listeners will have the opportunity to hear from families who have benefitted from the services provided by the Cancer & Blood Disorders Center and can donate to support it.

Last year, 1.5 Million was raised and I am hopeful that this year will be even better. As a Children's Healthcare Mom to Mom blogger, I am asking that you show your support by listening in and if you are compelled, make a donation to help fund family support services, research and the fellowship program at the Aflac Cancer Center.

You can make a donation here.
