Tax prep at Walmart

The other day a friend of mine was joking that Walmart has everything and would truly be a one-stop shop if they offered childcare and a dance club! Hilarious! And although these particular services are not available you can find almost everything you need at Walmart. One of the things that we all have to deal with this season are income tax preparation and now in-store tax preparation.

Walmart has partnered with H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt, and Liberty Tax to bring customers affordable tax preparation services in select Walmart Stores. These one-on-one services offer budget-friendly options for customers. Customers can save time with in-store tax preparation and filing services when they schedule an appointment, walk in, or simply drop off the documents to prepare their tax return. In-store tax preparation services include help with downloading their W-2 form and audit assistance.  For even greater convenience, customers can cash their tax refund check at Walmart for only $3 or load it to a Walmart MoneyCard or another favorite pre-paid card.
