Now, you may ask - how does this have anything to do with having a healthy family and staying fit? Which brings me to my 1st tip of the week: EVERYTHING in moderation!
During my journey to healthy living I have paid close attention to everything that I eat, both the “good” and the “bad”. I’ve found that when I’ve deprived myself of the “bad” foods, I tend to overindulge. By allowing myself and my family to have “treats” a couple times a week we don’t feel like we are missing out on anything. Remember, everything in moderation - ice cream counts too!
