Before and After from size 16 to size 8 (video post)

I've been thinking quite a bit about my journey to healthy living. I realize that I need to take a moment to celebrate my personal success. I may not have reached my goal weight of 150 pounds but I have come so far and feel like I've accomplished so much that I am stopping to smell the coffee, here and now. Please take a moment to watch my video, I am wearing my size 8 jeans!

In my video I am holding a bottle of Mommy's Time Out wine (we can all use a time out) and given that today is National Mom's Night Out I feel drinking it is appropriate. I will drink a glass to celebrate being a mom and also taking the time to focus on my needs. So often as parents (especially mothers) we get lost in the shuffle of ensuring everyone in our family is taken care of and forget about ourselves.

Although I may not be able to attend my planned Mom's Night Out activity tonight, I will be popping the cork on my Mommy's Time Out wine and toasting to myself and all the other moms out there.

I have not been on this journey alone, I hope along the way I've inspired others as much as I've been inspired by having everyone as my accountability partners. Today I thank you, celebrate Moms and all of the efforts that we make. Please take a moment today to celebrate with me -I am lifting a virtual glass in your honor too!
