A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words

Baked Alaska and Creme Brulé

I enjoyed these lovely delights during my birthday lunch at The Oceanaire Restaurant in Atlanta. My best friend Calinda treated me to a delicious lunch at this seafood restaurant. I am not sure why it did not occur to me to take a photo of the food: fresh oysters on the half shell and scallops that were melt in your mouth delicious.  Perhaps the grey goose lemon drop made me forget about the blog and just focus on catching up with my girlfriend.  In any event, the food was to die for, the conversation was brilliant and our waiter Daniel H. was superb. The delectable desert above was his gift to me for my birthday - now that is what I call service! If you are ever in the Atlanta area and enjoy seafood be sure to stop by The Oceanaire, you will not be disappointed.

That looks great! We have an Oceanaire here in DC but I'm allergic to see food. I want to take my husband there one day. Do they have other stuff besides seafood.

Being a former Mainer, I'm a big fan of upscale seafood dishes. Yummy! And who doesn't enjoy a nice dessert and coffee afterwards?
Happy Birthday!
