It's A Celebration!

Come on In. Have a margarita! Too early you say? Don't worry about it, this is a virtual party-you can't get a hangover and the drinks are on me! What am I celebrating? Well, I am glad that you asked. Last week my two month blog anniversary went by without a peep from me. But when I returned home from Boston on the very date of my anniversary I found a gift. It was in my in-box but I wasn't sure that I was reading correctly - it had been a long day, I was tired and trying to catch up on a weekend of comments and emails. After blinking several times I realized that my eyes were not playing tricks on me. The email read:

"Dear Renee

I am writing you today to invite you to share an experience with other mom bloggers like yourself -- the second ever Walt Disney World Mom Blogger Mixer. We would like you to be our guest at this special girls weekend to be held at Walt Disney World Resort Oct. 10-12."

I have to tell you I jumped up, ran down the stairs and shared the news with my husband and my mother. She shook her head and laughed. Because at this point nothing that I do surprises her.

I have held this news for the right time to share - like my 100th post. But I just could not do it. I had to share the news with you. I feel like a child on Christmas day. No, I feel like a winner of a contest. No, I feel like a member of the winning team at the Super Bowl. "Now that you've won the Super Bowl what are you going to do?"
