Nie Nie Day

Today is Nie Nie Day. All across the blogosphere bloggers are holding auctions to raise money for Stephanie and Christian Nielson, parents of four young children. Stephanie is the author of the Nie Nie Dialogues. On August 16th, 2o08 Stephanie and Christian were in a private plane crash that killed the pilot and left them both in critical condition. As you can imagine the costs associated with keeping them hospitalized, running their household, etc. are going to accumulate.

Design Mom has called for today to be Nie Nie Day. I have chosen to participate by auctioning my tickled pink diaper cake pictured below. All of the proceeds from the auction will go to the Stephanie and Christian fund. If you would like to participate please leave a bid in your comment. I will open the bidding at $10.00, I hope that you will find it in your heart to bid as well. The auction will go on until Monday, Sept. 1 noon. Once I have notified the winner all I need is the confirmation from the paypal fund and I will ship to you for free.

P.S. - I don't know Stephanie and am not a reader of her blog but when I heard their story I was compelled to participate. We are a powerful community that can postively impact this family.
