With that said I will bring you quickly give you the facts and the conclusion: I am an only child. As a child I was precocious, nerdy and at the top of my class. I had many acquaintances but few friends. My favorite hobby was reading and losing myself in the stories. I was a phone-a-holic and spent time on chat lines (I grew up before the internet existed and every home had a computer - rotary phones people). As an adult I still spend time on the phone but mostly talk to relatives. During my pregnancy and when my son was a newborn he and the telephone were my constant companions. This exposure to Mommy talking on the phone resulted in the next generation phone -a-holic.

And if you are wondering, yes he was talking on the phone. During his conversation with Grammy he picked up my cellphone and decided two phones are better than one.

Oh my gosh! How cute is he?!?!
I am the oldest and first born of two. My sister is the outgoing one. I think I am more introverted but some people say I'm outgoing. So, I don't know, I guess I go both ways. That sounds weird.
Your boy looks like he is getting a good handle on the phone thing.
hi there renee' thanks for stopping by the lylah blog....yup those clothes are adorable...and you have just the cutest little guy ever! i bet he'd love a sister! blessings...
That is too cute =)
You are a Super Mom...very articulate, creative and awesome person. Good luck on your very artistic and yummy business.
Aw...he's so cute Renee! For statistical purposes, does Dad have the communication gene also or is your gene the predominant one?
The poor child *really* needs a bluetooth headset though.
Ha! Luke has the same tendency with phones. Actually, if he finds a remote, he will ALSO pretend it's a phone. You can never have enough phones.
aww he is so adorable :-)
LOL! I'm the oldest of 3 and oldest children share many traits with only childs....I read the birth order book....
I'm a phone addict myself...and now my daughter (the youngest of three) follows me around the house imitating me as I pace my house while I'm on the phone.
Isn't it scary what habits they pick up!
He is so adorable. The phone isn't such a bad habit to have either, just make sure he's not using the cell phone while he's driving his trike, it can lead to all sorts of accidents. ;-)
lol, so cute and so much like mommy. i used to be a phone-a-holic too when i was younger and would spend hours and hours on the phone.
Like mother, like son 'eh ?! Thanks for sharing that cute story & photo's with us :)
Well.. I am also an only child.. many aquaintances and few close friends. I would be completely lost for hours in a good book but not at the top of my class as I was always dreaming about the tree outside and how good it would feel to climb it instead of being in a stuffy classroom! lol Your son is beautiful! :D
I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters so getting the phone was a rare occurrence in my house. I love the diaper cakes! My sister-in-law made one for me for my son. I loved it!
too cute! I use to love talking on the phone and actually make a living selling via the phone for a while now I can't stand it!
Very cute photos!
Glad you can see the pattern there. In my case, I have a phone-loving child and I HATE phones . . .
he looks so cute and really grown up with two phones : )
What do they say, "like mother, like son?" He looks so cute in the pictures! I think I'm much like you......I can be shy, but gregarious.....which does seem like a dichotomy.
He is so cute, I have a teenager that has the same phone to ear syndrome. I really like your cakes.
ha ha! great post and cute baby. :-D oh and i used to loooove playing on my aunt's rotary phone.
Too cute. Love it!
I have that issue with my youngest ... she even picks up calculators and remote controls and holds them to her ear and asks "Hello???? Hello???"
