#Blogust 2013
Last year I had the absolutely amazing opportunity to participate in the first ever Blogust Blog relay for the United Nation Foundations Shot@Life program. Each year, 1.5 Million children die of diseases that could have been prevented by a vaccination. Shot@Life is a movement to protect children worldwide by providing life-saving vaccines where they are needed most. This year, Blogust is back and for every comment left on a participating blogger’s post, a vaccination is being donated by Walgreen's pharmacy (up to 50,000!) for a child in a developing country. Check out the video below to see how it works.
By simply leaving a comment you are making a difference in the life of a child. The 31 participating bloggers this year are sharing personal stories about things that matter. By commenting daily not only will a donation be made but you will also be reading excellent content created by some of my very favorite bloggers, many of whom I am proud to call friends. I ask that you visit the Blogust page daily, click over to the post of the day and leave a comment. You can even have email reminders sent directly to your inbox so you don’t miss a post!
I implore you to take this simple step and help save lives!
