Unless you've read my about page you probably don't know this about me. Before I became a professional blogger, I was the Georgia Director for the Reach Out and Read program. Reach Out and Read is a national early childhood literacy program that provided books to children at well-child visits. All of the books were new and many times was the foundation for the children's at home library. First Book is one of the organizations that provides books for Reach Out and Read. And I proud to be leader in the Random House and First Book Read & Play Summer Fun community on the Blog Frog.
