Laughter



When Mekhi laughs it is the most beautiful sound in the world. Memories of his peals of laughter help me maintain my sanity when he is in the midst a toddler breakdown. Not familiar with the toddler breakdown? Imagine a young child screeching at the top of his lungs because things are not going his way. As Mekhi quickly approaches two these breakdowns are becoming commonplace. But with a face like this one I an unable to stay upset for too long.

I have often said that my most favorite sound in the entire world is my son's laughter!

You are absolutely right. I live for the laughter, the smiles, the hugs, the kisses and the love of my Miss J. There is just nothing like it =).

He is growing up so fast, right before our eyes. I can't wait until he is celebrating his 2nd birthday.

He is SOO cute! You're right about the laughter tiding you over. We're just getting into toddler tantrums around here nad it is UGLY. I have to stop, count to three and try to remember the giggles because otherwise I might go flapping berserk.

Uhm, I'm ready to admit that my visits to your blog are 50% because of the informative, and at times humorous nature of your posts, and 50% because I feel sort of like I know Mekhi (from reading all about his antics), and he's a cutie-patootie! (because I feel that "cutie booty" should be reserved for his mommy only :)

Tickle torture is my therapy, especially with my youngest, who tries to be all gangster most of the time..tee hee!
