And Blogging from the Democratic National Convention
Me. Well, not really. I didn't make it to Denver but am happy that a large group of political bloggers were able to attend. I just thought the title might intrigue you. Actually I am blogging about a random thought I just had related to the DNC.
I have C-Span on my tv in the background as I work and they are replaying Sunday's Interfaith service. Richard Smallwood, a gospel singer performed one of my favorite songs, The Praise Anthem. It has all of the things that I like - good singing, great music (replete with full orchestra) and the word of God. I think that the choir was a little nervous at the convention because they tried to keep the emotion to a minimum. I laughed at that because I knew everyone would soon be on their feet. And I was right. This song is so moving you will probably jump out of your seat - okay maybe not, but you will tap your feet.
Anyhow, if you need some uplifting or just want to hear some great music watch the video below. I promise you won't be disappointed.
